Exploring the concepts of fragility and light, Prisms of Light forms part of my new collection of glass-animal paintings. This series reflects on how glass—both nostalgic and ornamental—invites us to see familiar subjects with renewed sensitivity. By reimagining endangered animals as delicate glass forms, the work asks whether we might view them differently: with greater reverence, caution, and care. The transparency and luminosity of glass become metaphors for vulnerability, reminding us how precious—and precarious—these creatures truly are.
